Nature Park Sölktäler
Story
The historic Mesnerhaus in St. Nikolai was built around 1639 and served has always been as a poorhouse, toll station, first school and until 1974 as a hostel for the sacristan people. In 1998 the building was completely renovated. Since then, the former "eyesore" of St. Nikolai is utilized as a museum.
The Mesnerhaus in Advent
During Advent the Mesnerhaus shines in a particular light Advent calendar. The lovingly decorated windows are opened from the kindergarten and school children on the 4 Advent Saturdays.
