Catholic parish church Groebming

Gröbming

The parish of Gröbming has existed as one of the oldest Styrian pastoral offices since around 1200. Around 1500 the church was completely rebuilt, with the elevation of the church tower from 1676 to 1678 the church acquired its distinctive appearance. In the center of the high altar there is a Gothic Madonna. A special feature is the apostle altar, which is said to have been created around 1520/21 in the workshop of Lienhard Astl.
