A gripping relationship thriller

At the height of his career as a writer, Xaver leaves his great love of many years, the German teacher Mathilda, for no apparent reason, without any warning or explanation, while she is unsuspectingly teaching.
Seemingly by chance, the two come into contact again after many, many years and experience an intense encounter of the most contradictory feelings, culminating in love and hate in their extremes. The past is ruthlessly dug into and the core of the failed relationship is uncovered. Unexpected abysses open up, lies on both sides collapse like houses of cards and truths are gradually revealed. It is impossible to guess where this will lead the lovers and the supposed clarification leaves the audience stunned at the end.
