Ennstaler Almdiplom - Impression #1

Ennstaler Almdiplom

"Schloss Großsölk"

ATTENTION! The event has already taken place.

Milking cows, baking donuts, gather knowledge about plants and animals.
All this is contained in our brief study.
For the final graduation ceremony there's a diploma certificate and the best delicacy, which has the Alm to offer. Particularities: Individual care, high practical content and presenters who know what they are talking (and eat).

Procedure
The "Roas" starts at the nature park house Schloss Großsölk. Here you will visit the themed exhibition "The gold of the alpine pastures - Steirerkas" and will be guided through the exhibition (duration = approx. 1 ½ hours). Cheese is a typical regional rural product with a long tradition and history. You will get insights into the ancient cheese tradition from the Middle Ages to modern times.

Arrival in the Kleinsölktal to the Zaunerhütte on the Breitlahnalm with your own car or bus. (Please note the toll of € 12,- / car). Directly on the alp you will learn the daily craft of the farmers and can taste the tasty alpine products. With fun and brains you master all tasks playfully. After about 2 hours you have acquired extensive knowledge and are now ready to receive your "Ennstaler Almdiplom".
