Intern. Chamber Music days
Classical music is coming to the market town of Irdning-Donnersbachtal.
From 10 to 19 July, over 20 national and international musicians, under the direction of O.Univ. Prof. Anke Schittenhelm, will once again set musical highlights in the cultural summer of our region.
The ikmT is a cultural initiative deeply rooted in the market town of Irdning-Donnersbachtal, which, in addition to high artistic achievements, is primarily dedicated to supporting talented young people.
Daily lessons in the (currently) offered courses [violin, viola and cello] guarantee individual support for the participants, who come to Irdning-Donnersbachtal from all over Europe and sometimes from even further afield. Many of them are preparing for diplomas or auditions at the ikmT and find the ideal setting here to practise in peace and quiet.
Making music in the chamber orchestra and gaining stage experience at the daily workshop concerts (admission free!) and the major concert performances are often the highlight of the ikmT for participants and audiences alike.

at 7.30 pm in the Irdning festival hall. Admission: € 10.00 at the box office
Anniversary church concert on Thursday, 11 July 2024
at 7.30 pm in the parish church of Donnersbach. Admission: voluntary donation
Final concert on Saturday, 13 July 2024
at 7.30 pm in the Irdning festival hall. Admission: € 10.00 at the box office
Music workshop daily from 07 - 12 July 2024
