Ideal starting point at 1,610 metres altitude for hikes and refreshment stops (Ursprungalmhütte); easy alpine trail on the alpine pasture; to the Giglachseen lakes at 2,000 m and two serviced huts (Giglachseehütte, Ignaz-Mattis-Hütte); summit hike to the Steirische Kalkspitze (2,459 m), Lungauer Kalkspitze (2,471 m); Moarhofalm refreshment stop (Moarhofalm bus stop).
