The via ferrata offer on the Reiteralm has been expanded. The new beginner's via ferrata Goas Steigl delights young and old via ferrata fans.
With the Goas Steigl, a second via ferrata is now available in addition to the Franzi via ferrata: The Goas Steigl is a shorter via ferrata for beginners & children, rated A and B, one spot rated C and you are on the via ferrata for about 20 min.
This means that there is now a range of via ferratas from A to D (difficulty rating), from "easy" to "very difficult" on the Reiteralm.
With the Goas Steigl, the beginners and children among the via ferrata climbers are now especially addressed. The Franzi via ferrata is much more demanding in terms of length, difficulty and technique.
The Goas Steigl is easily accessible. The access is only about 20 minutes from the mountain station of the Preunegg Jet gondola, on the hiking trail to the Spiegelsee.
This new beginner's via ferrata "Goas Steigl" was realised this year in the best professional cooperation with Hans Prugger.
