Our Gasthof Pension Appartements "Zur Gams" is located about 5 minutes walk from the village center and about 800 m from the ski area Riesneralm. A free ski bus in front of our house takes you directly to the Riesneralm, and if there is enough snow you can ski back to the inn.
Enjoy your vacation in our spacious and exclusively equipped single rooms, double rooms, family rooms, suites and apartments, these promise a relaxing summer vacation or winter vacation in Donnersbachwald in the vacation region Schladming-Dachstein.
Culinary, we spoil our guests with a rich breakfast buffet and an evening menu with hearty, tasty Styrian specialties, which are mainly prepared using home-made and home-grown ingredients. Try our game specialties, trout or homemade things from the house butchery.
Fly-fishing – Fishing vacations in Schladming-Dachstein Region
Do you dream of forgetting the stress of everyday life and becoming one with nature while fly-fishing in crystal clear mountain water with 15 km of flyway or on 3 ponds with a total of 12 ha? Then why not spend a few days fishing vacation with us! During professionally supervised fishing courses, you can learn or deepen your fly fishing skills - for adults & teens from 14 years.
Our tip: licenses, day permits as well as the "3=1 Ennstal-Fishing-Voucher" etc. are available right here at the "Zur Gams".
In summer: While you relax in peace and quiet while fishing, your family can enjoy the many recreational activities in the Grimming-Donnersbachtal region.

With us in Donnersbachwald in the Grimming-Donnersbachtal region, you also have the possibility of tobogganing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, paragliding and snowshoeing right outside our front door.
SKI ENJOYMENT on the Riesneralm.
The skiing area, which is considered an insider tip, with its long downhill runs down to the valley, the adventurous cross-ride track, the permanent race track and our unique 1st Austrian children's ski area with its lifts, children's slopes, ski school center and the Magic Snow ski school will inspire you!
