Spacious yet rooted in rock, internationally inspired and Austrian at its core, straddling the tension between psychedelic complexity and melodic structures.

It is these very contrasts that the complex sound of the band Amanda brings together and connects in diverse ways. Sometimes distant in the vastness of a sonic universe, sometimes driven by momentum, and sometimes lost in the fragile shimmer of melancholy, the music takes the listener on a faraway journey into the depths of human feelings and emotions.

Moving within the realms of psychedelic rock, the band paints multifaceted pictures with sound, always intertwined with their roots as songwriters and influences from Austrian folk music.

In addition to the music, the lyrics, sung in the Styrian dialect, play a key role in Amanda’s sonic world. These lyrics tell of true personal experiences and often reflect the listener's own feelings in their landscapes.

The songs tell of long-past summer days, overwhelming sensory highs, and address the fundamental questions of our existence, only to then conclude that sometimes, despite deep connection, we cannot understand each other.
