Lieder Recital at the Parish Church of Öblarn

Baritone Ludwig Zettler and pianist and organist Vera Berjozkina invite you to a special Lieder recital that brings to life the emotional highs and lows of a lyrical self. In a program featuring works by Haydn, Mozart, Schumann, and Schubert, they span a musical arc from departure and hope to longing and love, loneliness, and paths yet untrodden.

Ludwig, an organist and church musician, has in recent years devoted himself intensively to singing, impressing with a baritone voice that combines lyrical finesse with powerful expressiveness. Vera accompanies him not only on the piano but also creates sonic bridges with selected organ works, lending the evening a unique dramatic depth.

Highlights of the program include the emotionally charged selections from Schubert’s Winterreise and the lyrical intimacy of Schumann’s Dichterliebe.
