Parish Church Assach
Aich
On 1 May 1860 was Assach made into an independent parish. Our parish church is dedicated to St. Nicholas. Assach was the starting point of an ancient trading route that led across the mountains to Hallstatt. This explains the patron saint Nicholas. St. Nicholas was in ancient times the patron saint of the purchase and carters.

Church tour
The churches in the Upper Enns Valley pastoral area are important cultural institutions. Their architecture, works of art and many symbolic elements tell stories of faith, history and art.
The church tours are offered in all parish and branch churches in the pastoral area.
Meeting point: in front of the respective parish church
Duration: approx. 30 - 45 minutes
Costs: the guided tours are offered free of charge
