Willi Resetarits (†2022), alias Dr. Kurt Ostbahn, has spent his life focusing on those people who have not fallen on the butter side of the same. Some of them were regulars at the Viennese pub “Espresso Rosi”. It was there that the brilliant author Günter Brödl (†2000) collected the material for all the texts that Willi Resetarits set to music for the album “Espresso Rosi” and premiered with his legendary band “Die Kombo” in 1995. The Joachim Csaikl Trio leads the audience at Espresso Rosi from one regular guest to the next, with appropriate original quotes from Willi Resetarits alias Dr. Kurt Ostbahn here and there. In their musical interpretation of all the bizarre, funny, strange, touching and abysmal songs, they give the songs a very special touch with their unusual instrumentation and individual arrangements, without forgetting the originals with their 70s flair. Welcome to a journey through time with the three thoroughbred musicians Csaikl, Pinkl and Dolezal to “Espresso Rosi” and let yourself be surprised by what happened there in those days!
