Planneralm

Irdning-Donnersbachsbachtal

The Planneralm is the highest ski village in Styria. In this idyllic family ski area at 1,600 meters you will find the best snow for beginners or professionals. A special feature is the classic “Gläserboden” tow lift, which still runs smoothly after 45 years. A ride with it is at least as nice as the descent afterwards. And really nostalgic too. There are adventures for children and families to experience in the Kinderland. After learning to ski at the local Planneralm ski school, you can head to the slopes in the Witches' Forest, to the ghost train or to the Kids Rodeo.

In summer, the mountain village offers pure relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Countless mountain pines cover the slopes of the Planneralm. The valuable natural remedy mountain pine oil has been extracted on the Planneralm for many years. In the mountain pine distillery you have the opportunity to purchase the special products.
For enthusiastic archers, adventurous courses await in Robin Hood Land.
