Landawirseehütte

The Landawirseehütte is situated at an altitude of 1,046 m at the foot of Samspitze, Pietrach and Hoher Wagen in the Schladminger Tauern in Salzburg. 

Above the hut is the Trockenbrotscharte and below the Göriachwinkel. The Hochgolling (2.864m), the highest peak of the mountain group belonging to the Niederen Tauern, dominates the Göriachtörl opposite the hut. This corner of the Schladminger Tauern is very popular with hikers and mountaineers because of its scenic beauty and tranquillity.
