Weitwanderweg G13 (Bewegungsarena Gröbminger Land)
trudne Nordic Walking · Gröbminger Land
The Gröbming long-distance hiking trail is a picturesque circular hike that starts in the centre of Gröbming and offers hikers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The route starts with a moderate ascent over the Hofmanning and after a short time opens up an impressive view of Gröbming, the Stoderzinken and the Schladminger Tauern.
After around 2.5 km, hikers reach a cosy rest area with wooden wave loungers that invite you to relax and enjoy nature. The trail continues through the districts of Winkl, Weyer and Mautdörfl and finally ends along the racecourse before returning to the centre of Gröbming.
With a length of around 6 km and a walking time of around 1.5 hours, the long-distance hiking trail is particularly suitable for hikers of all ages. The trail is easy to walk as it is mainly on paved paths and is also suitable for less experienced hikers due to the moderately small difference in altitude of 150 metres.
From Stainach: Leave the B320 Ennstalbundesstraße at the Gröbming exit. After the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit towards Kurpark. Once there, park in one of the parking lots described (Gasthaus zur Post, Gröbming bus station).
