Ennstal-Filzmoos Tour

From the starting point in Gröbming follow the main road to the south. At the roundabout take the exit in the direction of Moosheim and go downhill in serpentines to Moosheim. In Moosheim turn left onto the overpass. After the overpass, turn right and follow the bike path to Pruggern.

In Pruggern, change to the main road, cross the town and turn left to cross under the main road. Follow the accompanying path, which runs along the main road for about 2 km until you reach Assach. Turn right in Assach and then immediately left into Assachweg. Cross the town of Assach and continue along Assacherstraße in the direction of Aich. Turn right in the centre of Aich and follow the road slightly uphill towards Sonnberg and Weißenbach.

Turn left at Sonnberg and follow the road slightly downhill to Weißenbach. In Weißenbach pass the chapel, cross the bridge over the brook and turn right shortly after the bridge. Follow the road through Weißenbach in the direction of Ramsau Rössing. After about 5 km, with a slight ascent, Ramsau Rössing is reached. Follow the country road for another 5 km until you reach the junction with the Ramsauer Landesstraße. Turn right there and follow the road for 14 km to Filzmoos. The tour leads through the village of Ramsau and runs along the L711 and L219.

Arrived in Filzmoos, take the third exit at the roundabout and follow the Filzmoos country road for 11 km through the villages Reitsteg and Schattbach to Eben im Pongau. At the end of the country road turn left onto the Katschberg federal road and follow the federal road for 5 km to Altenmarkt. In Altenmarkt cross the railway tracks and the Enns and follow the road to the town centre. In the town centre turn left onto the road coming from Wagrain and continue along the main road through Altenmarkt.

Turn right before the Enns bridge and follow the bike path along the Enns river until you reach Schloss Tandalier. Turn right there and after approx. 100 metres turn left again onto Farnwangweg. Follow this road for approx. 2 km until you reach Radstadt. In Radstadt turn right onto Tauernstraße and follow Tauernstraße to the roundabout. There take the third exit towards Forstau and follow the Forstau-Landesstraße for about 10 kilometres through Forstau to Gleiming. In Gleiming turn right and drive on the Ennstal main road for a short time, at Pichlmayrgut leave the main road again and turn right onto the old main road.

Past the Pichl lake resort, the tour continues along the Enns and, after another crossing of the Enns, leads into the Ennsweg. Follow the Ennsweg to the west end of Schladming. There you follow the Ennsweg for a short distance on the Ennstal main road (approx. 200m), before the tour joins the elevated road on the left side of the main road in the Schladming district of Obere Klaus. After 4 km stay on the high road and cross the Ramsauer Landesstraße. After another 2 km turn right on the high road and drive slightly downhill in the direction of Untere Klaus.

Follow the road and at the end of the road turn left into Untere Klausstraße. After one kilometre turn right into Klausweg, cross the railway tracks and follow the road. Do not leave the road for 3 km and cross the villages of Oberhaus and Haus im Ennstal. At the end of Haus (Hauser Kaibling valley station) cross the main road in the direction of Weißenbach and follow Weißenbachstraße back to the village. Return the same way as before to Gröbming.
