The tour

Snappy. From the Mörsbachwirt, it's down to the nitty gritty. You climb the Schusterboden in a few kickback turns and another steep step later you go a little flatter to the summit, which you finally conquer on foot.

Turn-by-turn directions

The ski tour starts at the parking lot in the village center and follows the prepared forest road to the managed Mörsbachalm. Shortly before crossing the stream, follow the summer path until you reach a forest road. There you climb up to the left in hairpin bends and cross again to the right side of the stream at about 1500 meters. Follow the flattening gully until you reach a small bottom. The gully, which you see directly in front of you, you climb again in hairpin bends. Now you reach the Schusterboden. Continue to the west, over the ground and then slightly to the right to overcome the steep steps. After another small bottom you climb steeply up to the summit. This is mostly reached on foot.

Getting there

From the Ennstalbundesstraße (B320) turn off at the Trautenfels junction in the direction of Irdning, Donnersbach, Donnersbachwald. Through the village of Donnersbach and another 12 km to Donnersbachwald to the village center.
