The tour
Sinabell's impressive southwest-facing wall can be seen from afar. At the summit, an alpine meadow, filled with flowers and grazing sheep, invites you to take a break with wonderful views across mountaintops from the Enns Valley and the Schladminger Tauern to the high-alpine terrain of 'Am Stein'.
Turn-by-turn directions

Approach:

You will hike up in the direction of the Feisterscharte, then take a right turn below the rockface of the Sinabell, bringing you to the start of the via ferrata. The hike up to the Guttenberghaus from the Feistererhof parking spot takes 2.5 - 3 hours (1000 vm).

Descent:

From the summit of the Sinabell, the path drops down the grassy ridge to the Feisterscharte.  The path is indicated by stone cairns and red dots, bringing you back to the Guttenberghaus.

Alternative:

From the Feisterscharte, take path No. 618 ("Königsetappe"), then drop down through Silberkarklamm (maintenance fee) to the Feistererhof parking spot.
