Ski tour Pleschnitzzinken - open terrain
střední Ski tour partly prepared · Gröbminger Land
The Pleschnitzzinken ski tour starts at the GUB Galsterberg valley station directly at the start portal and after a short stretch on the piste leads into the forest, where a signposted route continues. The route continues idyllically through snow-covered trees up towards the GUB mountain station, with sections of piste and forest passages. The route then runs along the summer hiking trail to the summit of the Pleschnitzzinken. Here you are then in open terrain and can put your technique to the test with some hairpin bends up to the Pleschnitzzinken.
Fee for piste touring:
As you have to use part of the ski touring ascent track for the tour to the Pleschnitzzinken summit, you need our ski touring ticket. You can get the ticket at the ticket machine directly at the beginning of the ascent track or at the ticket office at the GUB valley station. A touring combined season ticket for Planai, Hochwurzen, Galsterberg, Rittisberg and Fageralm is also available. Holders of a valid ski pass do not need a separate ticket. The ticket machine only accepts ATM & credit cards with NFC function as well as coins and does not give return money! The ticket must be carried on the ascent as checks are carried out on the slopes.
Downhill:
The first part of the descent is in open terrain via several variants back to the Galsterberg. From there, you can continue on the piste back down into the valley. This only applies during the opening hours of the piste from 8:30 to 17:00! It is then not permitted to ski or walk on the closed pistes.
