Popis trasy
The "Große Mitterstein" tour starts at the Dachstein mountain station. As the first section of the tour is downhill, please do not put on your touring skis yet. The route leads down a secured and groomed descent (along the former ski slope) to the old valley station of the Mitterstein chairlift (out of service). Once there, the touring skis are skinned up and from now on the route leads uphill on a marked ascent track next to the prepared descent. If you have already crossed the Ramsau glacier, you can decide at the crossroads whether you want to turn left back to the Dachstein mountain station or turn right and take the Dirndl tour to the Seethalerhütte.
